As parents, we always try to encourage our children to bring out and nurture the hidden talent inside them. We try to help our kids be the best they can be, so that they can have faith in their abilities and grow up to be self-confident adults. This video will show you just how important this can be.

Christopher Maloney from UK has always loved to sing, but people around him never encouraged him to show his talent in front of others. He was always told he wasn’t good enough and that he’ll make a fool out of himself if he ever got on the stage. At 34 years of age, he finally decided to take a chance and perform in front of a live audience… thus he entered the talent show “The X factor UK”. When he got up on the stage he was literally trembling in stage-fright… but after he started to sing, boy ohh boy… he gave me goosebumps! Watch his amazing performance in the video below…

Chris received a standing ovation from the crowd; the judges were shocked to know how he managed to hide such a beautiful voice for such a long time. Sometimes, people around us will discourage us, demotivate us, shatter our self-confidence… that’s when we as parents need to help our kids have faith in their abilities so they can overcome their fears and show the whole world how talented they are. Like Chris did after hiding his talents for such a long time. But when he did come out of the closet, he stole the show… He truly is an inspiration for all of us.
