Meet Grant.  His Father and Mother posted this homemade short documentary about his dwarfism and it is just so touching.  This boy has great wisdom at 6 years old even though he is only as tall has his 1-year-old brother.

His Mother Amy Pearce had this to say about this video she posted on Youtube.

I am continually humbled by Grant, and his love, determination, and heart. He and I teamed up to try and help tear down the walls between little people and people of average height–and really between all people, in this little documentary. We hope that everyone will just see people as people, and love them for who they are.

As a parent, I just love this video and I’ve had my kids watch it a couple times now.  We all face challenges in our lives…some greater than others.  Teaching our children how to love people no matter how they look is so important.

My favorite part of the video is when Grant says:

If you see someone little like me, You’ll realize they are just people like everyone, maybe smile and wave and say hello, you never know know they could end up being your best friend.
