Mothers and Fathers are most times very protective of their children.  We protect them from harm and provide for their needs.  This includes giving them things that make it easier to connect with our children.  I’m talking cell phones.  Watch the video to see what can happen when we sometimes we don’t think before we act…even though we have the best of intentions.

One day Liz was driving her car just like millions of teens do each and every day.  Liz’s mother Betty had given her a cell phone so she could keep in touch with her better…everyone knows these days that kids love to communicate via text right?

So Betty sent a text to Liz knowing she was driving.  Something that thousands of parents do on a daily basis right.  I mean…we teach them not to read text when they drive so we just assume that they will read it when the arrive at their destination.

Unfortunately for Liz she chose to read the text while driving and was in a horrible car accident that has left her permanently disabled.  In the video above she details the exact story and what happened to her.
