Moms and Dads want the best education for their little kidos…so what about a teacher who is covered head to toe in tattoos and has multiple piercings over her body? This teacher, Charlotte Tumilty, a 26-year old mother of two claims she was sent home from the Catholic school she was teaching at in Hartlepool England. According to the multiple news sources Tumilty, who has a “full sleeve” of tattoos on her arms and legs, smaller inkings on her fingers, hands, back and chest and an eye emblem on her neck, claimed that due to the “strict Catholic” school’s policy she was told to go home and cover up.

She claimed at an interview to secure her placement at the school as a two-day a week trainee teacher, staff were able to see her tattoos. She did promise to take out her piercings on her nose and lips.

“They said that would be perfect,” she said.

However, when she began her job at the primary school, she was pulled aside and told to cover up.

“It ticks me off. They said I could maybe start later but I don’t think it’s going to get anywhere because you can still see bits of my tattoos,’

“They prejudiced me because they could see a few tattoos.”
