Doctors told Karen and Brian Wollman that their baby would not survive after birth.  Not only did their baby have Down Syndrome, he also had Hydrops which is a condition where fluid builds up inside the unborn baby and causes swelling and organ damage.  They were told to expect a stillborn.

However after taking a breath after delivery…which was a miracle in itself…he body and organs were shutting down and they were told by the doctors to say one last goodbye to their new child.

Karen asked for one last favor to remember their new son Renner.  She wanted to rock him one last time.

What happened next was truly a miracle and has moved me to tears.
