What mom hasn’t caught her child using the couch cushion to go sliding down the stairs?  With the following product, it could change drastically from the way it happened during my childhood.

Whether it is inside a laundry basket, on a couch cushion or using some other ingenious child-manufactured medium – most children have taken an intentional ride down the family’s staircase.

As a kid, I would want this slide.  As a mom, I want my kids to create their own adventures, not rely on something that has been created for them to spark their childhood memories.  I remember grabbing the couch cushions and stair sliding for hours – well, until someone got hurt – I even remember begging my parents to keep our old vinyl cushions because they were the FASTEST ever.

 I look at the way the world is changing and realize how many of my childhood memories will never happen the same for my children, let alone my grandchildren.  Although, I have to admit…  I totally  want to try this thing out and I know my kids and I could have a blast for hours.
