Being a parent, we try our best to be our children’s best friends. It’s a beautiful relationship, one that is molded by love, care and faith. Danielle Delph, an artist, wondered if she was born the same time as her mom, would they have been just as great friends like they are now?

“I’ve always wondered if my mom and I would have been friends had we grown up together. Would we be in the same classes? Would we have the same sense of humor? Would people tell us we’re inseparable?” To find the answer to her questions she took a unique approach by photoshopping herself into her mom’s vintage photos. The project titled “If I Had Known My Mother Back Then” took 6 months to complete. And the end results are simply stunning… Scroll down and watch the beautiful photos below…

Now Danielle knows the answer to her question. “After seeing myself in her childhood photos, I’m pretty sure we would have been great friends. Mom, thanks for being the same friend to me now, that you would have been back then.”
