A new father who was deployed in the middle east got to watch the birth of his daughter on an iPad using Facetime…something pretty neat in today’s techie world.  But what happened next surprised everyone!

Sgt. John Vorrath was deployed with his unit in the middle East and when it came time for the birth of his daughter he was able to watch it in real time using Facetime and an iPad, but as many fathers know…it’s just not the same as being there!

As Sgt. Vorrath was watching the birth, his commander slipped him a secret not granting him temporary leave to go and visit his wife and newborn baby in the hospital!
