Imagine as a parent that your child can not hear.  Now imagine your child getting a Cochlear Implant and suddenly being able to hear your voice for the very first time! This little boy, who has never heard anything in his life, never heard his mother’s voice… gets an Implant and hears for the first time.   How will he react when he hears his mom for the first time? Well, this video shows you just that! And the boy’s reaction is simply Priceless!

I just love the look on 2 year old Cooper’s face when he heard his mom’s voice for the first time. The Cochlear Implant made this possible and he was left with a surprised look in his face! Finally, now he’ll be able to hear everything… he will not miss out on such a wonderful gift of life anymore. I feel so happy for little Cooper.

Several studies found that about 1 to 6 per 1,000 babies are born with congenital hearing loss in the United States. Kids with hearing problems have harder time to learn vocabulary, grammar, word order, idiomatic expressions, and other aspects of verbal communication. Cochlear Implant has made it possible for these babies to be able to enjoy the gift of sounds.
