Parents need to be aware of a game that children are playing called ‘Five minutes in heaven.’, ‘Blackout’, The knockout Challenge”, or ‘The Chocking Game’.  This game has deadly consequences… just ask the four families who live in the Iron Country School District in Utah.

An epidemic has been happening all across the country and many parents have no idea what is going on…and there is a chance that YOUR child is playing this game.  These games are all started in innocence and kids here they are ‘cool’ and fun and you get a rush.  Erik Robinson who was only 12 learned this game on a Monday and on Tuesday he died from accidental chocking.  Erik’s parents were not only shocked and destroyed but just amazed that their little boy could be gone from this world just because of a ‘Game’.

As time went by the family started to research this game, they found a disturbing fact.  3 other kids in the school district had died from the game and at least one of them who people thought had committed suicide…after additional investigation…it was determined it was ‘The Game’

“I think, nationwide, the problem is a lot more widespread than anyone realizes,” Bleak notes. (The American Academy of Pediatrics reported in 2012 that up to 11 percent of children and adolescents have tried it.) He says he’s joined forces with Erik’s parents to bring awareness to educators, parents, and law enforcement officials around the country. In Iron County earlier this month, Bleak led a public forum on the topic, bringing out about 20 parents on a weekday evening.
